August 2018

On 8th July NHAD performed its 2018 showcase This Is Me at Queen Mary Hall. Every child in the school was given the chance to perform in every dance genre that they study and after a huge amount of hard work produced the most wonderful show at an extremely high standard! Well done to everyone and thank you to all of the people who volunteered on so many levels making our showcase possible. DVD's have been ordered and will be available to re order in September if you wish.

Well done to everyone who took RAD and ISTD Exam results this year. Everyone worked so hard and achieved the best marks possible. Our highest score this year was 94% with more than 80% of our exam results being distinction/high merit. Best of luck to our Vocational Students who are taking exams in the Autumn term and we look forward to busy ISTD and RAD sessions in the Spring and Summer so that everyone can continue their progression.

NHAD have had an amazing competition season so far this year with hundreds of medals awarded, numerous trophies and bursaries and 87 pieces of choreography qualified for All England Regional Finals next May/June. We are about to embark on the second half of the season and everyone is working extremely hard. Next season will be slightly different with even further opportunity for all NHAD students to be involved in our performance and competition teams. On 21st June 2019 (pm) we will be holding several workshops for different age groups
